1. Delheim Harvest Festival 2020

2. Stellenbosch Street Soares
Hosted by Stellenbosch Wine Routes, the event is one of those where all locals and visitors come together to celebrate, having fun with each other. Held in Drostdy Street, the city, it is the perfect place to get up close and personal with a vibrant culture and lifestyle and enjoy amidst live music, delectable cuisine and excellent wines. The Stelinbosch Wine Festival takes place once or twice every Wednesday, starting in November. This three-day event which is mostly held in the month of February is one of the best ways to revel in the magical beauty of the Winelands. An event for the whole family with a dedicated area for children, it ensures three days of nonstop fun, mouth watering, loads of games and activities and an unforgettable experience. 4. Vineland Chocolate Festival
The Stellenbosch Chocolate Festival is an outcry for all chocoholics, which is part of two days of the final fun event. Hosted at Klapmuts’s Enura Estate, there are plenty of activities on board to keep you happy with a line of stalls serving some of the best and freshest food and beverages. In addition, you will be pleased to find a chocolate fountain, boutique hand-made chocolate, confectionery and ice cream. It includes a chocolate-based theme, live musical bands, wine, gin, champagne and all kinds of beverages to keep you buzzing, and there will also be a mixed bread and cheese stall. This is definitely the time of your life!

5. Idioms Wine and Macron Experience
The wine combined with chocolate is enough to give your taste a sensory pleasure and there is no better place to experience this than at the Stellenbosch, the chocolate and wine festival. It is being held at the idiom winery’s restaurant starting in November last year and ending in February this year. A unique pairing of macers made in true Italian style with some unconventional wines with the natural beauty of the serving vineyards as the perfect backdrop. In a host of flavors like chamomile, blueberry, lemon etc. garnished with macron and white chocolate filling and dark chocolate cane, the bakery and pastry section of the Ideum is made with the finest ingredients to enhance the taste of the wine.

6. Wine Walk to Warwick
If you are looking for an aggressive experience during the stay of the winners, this is one of the major Stellenbosch festivals of 2020 tailored for you to enjoy with family and friends. A total of 6 km walk between the lovely vineyards and in addition the reward of tasting some classic wines with delicious lunches. What could be more perfect than a holiday? Starting with the Dentopia Cafe at Delvera Ranch after a coffee and hearty breakfast, the group heads to the picturesque Warwick Wine Estate, where you get to taste a maximum of four types of wines. Lunch is served at the Dirtopia Cafe after the end of the walk.

8. Stalinbosch Craft Beer Festival
Every year, the sights of the Jan Marais Reserve come alive with the vibrant energy of this Stellenbosch Beer Festival. An initiative of Oktoberfest, the event is a ticket to fun and enjoy throughout the day between activities and delicious food, local breweries, live band drinks and more. Come and enjoy with the whole family as there are many kid friendly things like orbs, face painting, jumping palace etc. A great way to spend a great day in the beautiful outdoors and happy atmosphere!

9. Top of the hill fun walk
2 km walk to the gorgeous old fig tree at the top of the hills at the De Waal Wine Estate. The walk is hosted by estate owner Pieter De Waal who has many interesting snippets and stories to share. The vineyard is one of the oldest areas in the region about 68 years ago and by joining this walking tour one can learn more about the good old history of the place. It includes a taste of the top of the hill Pinotage with four more wines and a delicious cheese lunch that includes a variety of local dishes and cheese. All this with a glass of their favorite flavor of wine from the winery’s collection. Held on a Saturday, it is one of several Stellenbosch festivals.

10. Jordan Wine Estate Picnic
This is one of the most popular ways to spend a hot summer day in Stellenbosch, while enjoying the charming natural views of the Fanbos covered hills and enjoying a basket full of delicious treats with a bottle of clear sparkling wine.
