This lake is both a man-made and natural freshwater lake, it is also the most visited place in Pokhara. Annapurna This lake is the second largest lake in Nepal and has many water activities such as canoeing, boating, swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking and bird watching. There is a Barahi temple which stands on an island in this lake dedicated to Varaha where devotees offer sacrifices of birds and animals every Saturday.

This stunning waterfall is about 2 km from Pokhara Airport. The major source of water of this waterfall is Phewa Lake. The name of this fall is derived from a very unfortunate incident where a woman drowned and fell in this fall and was named ‘Davy’. The mystery of this fall attracts visitors the most because the water does not go into a river or lagoon, but in a pitch the dark hole in the caves disappears.

4. Zhangchub Choling Gompa

The monastery is located in the Tibetan Refugee Settlement in Pokhara and was built as a center for Buddhist services and ceremonies. The Dalai Lama has named this place and this beautiful structure has its own history. Built in Tibetan style, the hall of this monastery is magnificent and used for prayer rituals. 7. Pokhara Shanti Stupa
This pagoda is located above Phewa Tal. It is also known as the World Peace Pagoda. This shiny white dome was built by some monks as a symbol of peace. The stupa has two tiers which are meant for tourists and religious people. There are many routes to reach this stupa such as hiking, boating and passing through the forest.
