6. Kayavrohan Temple

Kayavarohan Temple is another masterpiece from the list of famous temples in Vadodara. It is considered one of the 68 pilgrimages and one of the most important temples in Vadodara. 8. Kubera Bhandari Shiva Temple

The temple is located in the village of Karnali, near the famous city of Karnal. The estimated height of the temple is about 800 feet above sea level. To reach the temple one has to complete 680 stairs climbing. There are regular bus services to the temple from Vadodara. The temple holds a mythological significance. According to urban legend, Lord Shiva along with his beloved wife, Parvati were clearing their way through a dense forest situated on the banks of the Narmada River. Due to the long stroll, Parvati reached the pinnacle of exhaustion and was completely consumed. He further requested Lord Shiva for food and water. Since the availability of food and water was almost negligible, Lord Shiva concluded that it would be better to live in the confluence of food and water. Later, Lord Shiva was believed to be Kubera Bhandari, who is believed to be the god of food and water. The atmosphere of the temple is calm and peaceful.

9. Dhundiraj Ganpati Temple
Built in the year 1844, the double-storied temple was constructed by Gopalrao Mayoral, a diwan during the reign of Ganpatrao Gaekwad of the Maratha dynasty. The Maratha dynasty worshiped Lord Ganesha as their presiding deity. It is one of the oldest temples present in the state of Gujarat. The vigorous and vibrant donation of colors extended the look of the flowers, which were engraved on all parts of the architecture.

10. EME Temple
