Best time to visit Siem Reap

The best time to visit Siem Reap is December to February when the weather gets slightly cooler than other months and is favorable for sightseeing with an average temperature at 25 ° C. This UNESCO World Heritage Center is an architectural marvel, with five lotus-like towers that rise up to 65 meters in the sky. It is the ruins of the largest religious building in the world which was earlier dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and later became a Buddhist sanctum with four Buddha statues facing different directions. The walls have amazing views, depicting the “churning of sea milk”, hell and heaven, war, etc., making it one of the primary places to visit in Siem Reap.

5. Neek Peen

It is the largest butterfly center in Southeast Asia where you can see butterflies of all colors and sizes flying within large canopy enclosures. It is one of the most liked tourist attractions in Siem Reap Cambodia due to its lush green cover and vibrant flowers such as Ixora and orchids. Here, you can see the different stages of butterfly metamorphosis and even if you are lucky, throw them away!

10. Prekol Bird Sanctuary
